Drug Uses
Diovan is used for treatment of high blood pressure alone or with other medicines. It is also used for treating heart failure in patients who do not tolerate angiotensin–converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
How Taken
Use Diovan as directed by your doctor. Take Diovan with or without a meal. Take Diovan on a regular schedule to get the most benefit from it.
Additional Information
Diovan may cause drowsiness or dizziness. These effects may worsen if Diovan is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Diovan with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Diovan should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor
