Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to moderate pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also reduces fever in adults and children. This medication is usually used in patients who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Use Paracetamol exactly as pre-scripted by your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage as it may be very unsafe and life threatening.
Additional Information
Paracetamol can cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Paracetamol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Paracetamol should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your physician.
