Drug Uses
Desyrel is used for treatment of depression. It can also be used for relief of an anxiety disorder (e.g., sleeplessness, tension), chronical pain. It may also be used for other situations as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Use Desyrel as pre-scripted by your physician. Use Desyrel after a meal or light snack. It may take 1 to 4 weeks for Desyrel to work. Do not stop taking Desyrel without checking with your doctor.
Additional Information
Desyrel can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Desyrel is taken with alcohol or certain other pills. Use Desyrel with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Desyrel should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your physician.
